Your plans stay on your device
Homedraft has no accounts and no server that keeps your work. Your plans, the images and 3D models you add, and your settings are saved in this browser on this device. They are never uploaded.
We don’t use cookies, analytics or tracking, and the site doesn’t load anything from other companies. Even the fonts come from this site. Your browser enforces this: the site’s security policy doesn’t allow the page to connect to any other server.
What the server sees
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When your browser downloads the site’s files, Cloudflare’s servers receive your IP address, the time, the file asked for and what your browser says about itself (its name and version), as every web server does. Which plan you open is never part of that request: it stays in the part of the address after “#”, which browsers don’t send.
Cloudflare uses this to deliver the site and protect it from attacks, under its own privacy policy (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy), which doesn’t set a number of days for it. We don’t get a full log of your visits. On the plan the site uses, Cloudflare shows us totals, such as the number of requests and the countries they come from, and a sample of individual requests from up to the last 7 days, with their IP addresses, the files asked for and what the browser says about itself. We look at these only to keep the site running.
The site doesn’t use Cloudflare’s analytics, bot checks or anything else of theirs that adds scripts or cookies to the pages.
Keeping your plans
Browsers can clear saved site data: when you clear your history, when the device runs low on space, in private windows when you close them, and in Safari after some days without a visit. Download a project file (in the editor, File › Save as JSON, or File › Back up all plans for every plan at once) to keep a copy you control.
The file is yours. It contains the plan and any images or models in it, so think before sharing it.
Plans don’t follow you
A plan saved on your laptop isn’t on your phone. To move one, download it as a project file and open it on the other device. To move them all, use File › Back up all plans in the editor: one file holds every plan, and opening it on the other device restores them.
Deleting everything
In the editor, File › Projects… deletes a plan, and File › Clean up storage… › Delete everything on this device deletes every plan, image, model and saved material Homedraft keeps in this browser, and your settings. You can also remove this site’s data in your browser’s settings.
Shared computers
Anyone who uses this browser can open the plans saved in it. Use your own browser profile or a separate device.
